The inspection and law enforcement ensures that pharmaceutical premises, personnel and medicinal products meet the minimum standards as specified in the PMP Act (1988) and regulations through regular and scheduled inspection activities;
1. Inspection of dispensing premises (Clinics, Hospitals)
2. Inspection of illegal markets (Drug policing)
3. Disposal of expired medicinal products
4. Port of entry inspections
5. Post marketing surveillance
6. Educating the public on hazards of buying medicines from illegal markets
7. Inspection of manufacturing premises (Local and International)
8. Inspection of pharmaceutical premises (Medicine store, veterinary stores, herbal clinics, shops, wholesale pharmacies and retail pharmacies)
