Mr. William Mpute is a member of the current Board of Directors of the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA). He’s a qualified pharmacist and the current President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Malawi (PHASOM). He’s also Chairperson of the Medicines Sub-Committee of the PMRA Board. The Medicines Committee is established in line with Section 17 of the PMRA Act, No. 9 of 2019 to, among others, advise the Board on matters relating to medicines.
